2023 Highlights from The Pickens 54 🏁 Western Springs Speedway kicked off 2023 in high-velocity style with The Pickens 54 - New Zealand's longest Midget race - on New Year's Day. The marquee event is named after Kiwi speedway great Michael Pickens, who featured alongside American superstars Justin Grant, Taylor Reimer, Ethan Mitchell and Buddy Kofoid, plus more than 30 local hotshots. Meanwhile, the Sprintcar J.A. Russell Silver Crown sees V8 Supercars champion SVG.
